Papaya Banana French Toast

The first and last time I ate french toasts in kindergarten – until today & I think it will not be the last time on my journey. Provided I find toast bread, which was not baked with a hundred additives. Honestly, I was surprised myself how delicious this whole wheat toast baked in coconut oil tastes. A super quick & delicious breakfast. If you don’t have a fresh papaya from Tenerife handy, you can also enjoy this recipe with any other fruit.

Ingredients

  • 6 slices wholemeal toast

  • 2 tsp coconut oil

  • 1/2 Papaya in slices

  • 1 banan in slices

  • Some agave syrup, coconut flakes & hazelnut/almond crunch

Directions

  • Heat the coconut oil in a frying pan and roast the toast slices golden brown.
  • Cut the papaya and banana into slices and arrange them on the fried toast.
  • On top: some agave syrup, coconut flakes and hazelnut/almond crunch.
