  • 1 cup Beluga lentils

  • 2 cups water

  • 1 red bell pepper

  • 1 green bell pepper

  • 3 tbsp black sesame seeds

  • 2 tbsp sesame oil

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

  • Juice of half a lemon

  • 1 tbsp tahini


  • Put the washed lentils in the saucepan with two cups of water.
    Bring the Beluga lentils to a boil briefly, then turn the heat down to low.
    Let the lentils simmer in the covered saucepan for about 25 minutes.
  • Cut both peppers into strips and put 2 tablespoons of sesame oil in a frying pan. Fry the peppers for 10 minutes until hot. Add 1 tbsp. of the soy sauce and the sesame seeds. Let everything cook together for another 5 minutes.
  • Mix 1 tbsp tahini, 1 tbsp soy sauce and the juice of the lemon and fold the ingredients into the cooked lentils. Season with salt.
  • Serve the lentils together with the roasted vegetables.
